By the way, congrats to you and your Gators, but Boise State should get a shot. They certainly earned it.

Excellent point, something seemed fishy to me (112 first place votes after losing to Florida). Does the Harris Poll not do a final poll after bowl games? What about the computer averages, are they still computed after bowl games? I do know the main reason for these polls is to rank teams for BCS bowl game bids, but why not then use them to determine who is the final national champion. According to BCSFootball.com, the final BCS rankings show Ohio State in first and this DOES take into affect their loss to Florida in the National Championship Game. Why would they even publish this? An easy answer is that the site is managed by Fox Sports, affiliated with Fox News, but I digress. Bottom line, the current BCS System is seriously flawed. A tournament is needed to determine a true national champion.

How can you calculate a final BCS ranking if Harris doesn't conduct a final poll?
